TEMPLE NEUROTRAUMA RESEARCH LABORATORY  Investigated the effects of traumatic brain injury on cerebral prostaglandin levels using a microdialysis technique (1999-2001). 

 

RWJMS SUMMER FELLOWSHIP

"Selective Dopaminergic Neurotoxic Effects of MPP+ in Fetal Rat Mesencephalic Cultures."  MPP+ toxicity to dopaminergic and GABAergic neuron populations in fetal rat mesencephalic cultures was assessed and a dose-response curve that demonstrated the selective dopaminergic neurotoxic effects of MPP+ was produced (1993).
